IRON NEST Shell Types

Every shell is forged for a single purpose. Choose the round that actually solves the problem, not the strongest one on the list.

How Each Shell Works

ShellWhat It DoesBest For
Read the TeleprinterTwo teleprinters: one takes TOP-PRIORITY orders from High Command, the other relays calls from the frontline. Read every line before touching the gun — a later paragraph can change the whole objective.1
Locate the TargetUse coordinates, spotter bearings, distances, corrections, and Position Reports to pin the target. Spotter bearings are NOT the turret bearing — draw a fresh line from the current Iron Nest position to the target.2
Calculate the Firing CardDraw one final line from the current position to the confirmed target. Record bearing, range, powder charges, and elevation together — they only work as a matched set.3
Prepare the GunLoad the confirmed shell and charge count, rotate the turret, set elevation, and confirm the correct left or right gun is armed.4
Fire and ConfirmPull the trigger and wait for impact. Treat every correction, movement, or new target as fresh information before the next shot.5
